Provincial Nominee Program(PNP):
Under the Provincial Nominee Program, candidates shall have the skills, education and work experience needed to make an immediate economic contribution to the province or territory that nominates them. They have been assessed on their capability to economically establish themselves as permanent residence in Canada.
The criteria for this program is determined by individual provinces and territories and applicant must get a nominated y a Canadian province or a territory in order to qualify. Once nominated applicants has to fulfil other conditions laid by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)
IEC (International Experience Class):
Provision to provide travel and work program. Meant for working holidays, young professionals and international co-op students. This visa is granted up to one year period, could be extended as per applicable rules..
Atlantic Immigration Program:
The Atlantic Immigration Program is a pathway to permanent residence for skilled foreign workers and international graduates from a Canadian institution who want to work and live in 1 of Canada’s 4 Atlantic provinces—New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island or Newfoundland and Labrador. The program helps employers hire qualified candidates for jobs they haven’t been able to fill locally.
Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot
The Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot is a community-driven program. It’s designed to spread the benefits of economic immigration to smaller communities by creating a path to permanent residence for skilled foreign workers who want to work and live in one of the participating communities .
Agri-Food Pilot
The Agri-Food Pilot helps address the labour needs of the Canadian agri-food sector.
The pilot provides a pathway to permanent residence for experienced, non-seasonal workers in specific industries and occupations. It will run until May 2023.
Permanent residence pathways for Hong Kong residents
This temporary public policy for Hong Kong residents who are currently in Canada provides a pathway to permanent residence for eligible applicants and their families.
By providing new pathways to permanent residence, the Government of Canada aims to encourage recent Hong Kong graduates and those with essential work experience to choose Canada as a place to study, work and settle. This public policy will facilitate granting permanent residence to eligible Hong Kong residents who are currently residing in Canada, along with their family members.
There are 2 streams for which you may be eligible. You can apply for permanent residence under one of the following:
Stream A: In-Canada graduates
Stream B: Canadian work experience
This public policy will be in effect from June 1, 2021, to August 31, 2026.
