FSW (Federal Skilled Worker)
If you have the capability to economically establish yourself after arrival in Canada and fulfil all the criteria, you may qualify under this category. Skilled workers are assessed based on a points system.
Points are assigned to applicants for their education level, English and/or French language ability, relevant skilled employment experience, age, and adaptability in Canada. A successful applicant must obtain at least 67 points.
FSTW (Federal Skilled Trade Worker)
If you qualify in a skilled trade; has relevant work experience and fulfil other criteria, you qualify for this category
Canadian Experience Class
The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) isavailable for foreign nationals who have completed at least 12 months of full-time authorized work (minimum 30 hours per week in one or more jobs) in Canada in the three years preceding the application filing date. Canadian Experience Class applications are primarily assessed on two criteria, i.e. In Canada work experience and language ability in English or French (test results required). The work experience shall be at least a one year of full time work experience in Canada in one or more occupations listed in the National Occupation Classification (NOC) as skill type (managerial occupations, professional occupations and technical and skilled trades respectively).
